Privacy policy

The short version

You can use the calculator without giving us anything. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics and no visitor identifiers of any kind. The only personal data we handle is what you type into the quote form — and that goes straight to Villiers Jets Ltd, not into a database of ours.

Using the calculator

Estimates are calculated in your browser from a data file downloaded with the page. Choosing a route, changing passengers or switching to a round trip sends nothing about you anywhere.

One exception, and it is visible on screen: when you run an estimate, the page asks our server for our partner's live availability, sending only the two airport codes and the passenger count. Our server forwards that to Villiers Jets. No personal data is involved, because at that point we do not have any.

The quote request form

If you choose to request confirmed quotes, you give us:

• first and last name
• email address
• phone number — optional, and only used if you want to be called
• departure date and passenger count
• the route you selected

Where it goes. Those details are transmitted through our server directly to Villiers Jets Ltd, our affiliate partner, who quote the flight and contact you. From that point Villiers Jets Ltd is an independent controller of your data under their own privacy policy, which we do not control and which you should read before submitting.

What we keep. Nothing. CharterJetCalc does not store your submission, does not build a mailing list, does not have a CRM, and never sells or shares your details with anyone other than Villiers Jets Ltd for the purpose you asked for. Our server holds the request in memory only for as long as the forwarding call takes. Our application log records that a request was made — the two airport codes, the date and whether it succeeded — with your name, email and phone number redacted.

Legal basis. Your explicit consent, given by ticking the box on the form. The box is never pre-ticked. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting Villiers Jets Ltd directly — since they hold the data, only they can delete it.

Spam protection. The form includes a hidden field that humans never see and bots usually fill in, and our server limits how many requests a single address can make in an hour. Neither involves profiling you.

Analytics

We count events, not people. Our analytics are first-party, cookieless and carry no identifier of any kind, which means two events from the same visitor cannot be linked together — not by us, and not by anyone with access to the data.

Each event carries an event name and, at most, coarse buckets such as:

• a distance band (for example "500–1500 miles"), never the airports you chose
• a passenger band (for example "1–4"), never the exact number with a route attached
• the recommended aircraft category
• whether a partner request timed out, and how long a step took
• Core Web Vitals for the page (loading, layout stability, responsiveness)

The complete list of event names the site can send is: calculator_view, calculator_submit, estimate_success, estimate_error, live_market_start, live_market_success, live_market_timeout, live_market_error, quote_form_start, quote_form_error, quote_form_submit, partner_outbound_click, methodology_view, web_vitals.

Never sent to analytics: your name, email, phone number, the exact route you entered, anything typed into the quote form, your IP address, or any cookie, device or session identifier.

We honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Trackautomatically. If your browser sends either signal, the analytics code disables itself on the first event and sends nothing at all.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

The site stores exactly one value in your browser's local storage: your choice of light or dark mode, under the key theme. It never leaves your device, is not an identifier, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Third parties

• Villiers Jets. Receives your quote request when you submit the form, and supplies the live availability panel. Their sponsored links, when clicked, send a click notification to their servers containing the affiliate code and which creative was clicked — the request itself exposes your IP address to them, as any link to any website does. Governed by their privacy policy.
• Our hosting and CDN providers. Serve the site and keep standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. These are operational logs, not analytics, and are not used to profile visitors.
• No one else. No advertising network, no tag manager, no social widgets, no session recording, no A/B testing tool, no chat widget, no fonts loaded from a third-party server. Fonts are served from our own domain.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because we do not retain your submission, we usually have nothing to give you — the data you are looking for is held by Villiers Jets Ltd, and requests should go to them.

If you believe we hold something about you, or you want to complain about how this site handles data, write to [email protected] and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is aimed at adults arranging travel and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If the site's data handling changes, this page changes in the same deploy — it is written from the code, not from a template. The date at the top is the date of the last change.
